Join our expert guides as they take you on a specialist guided walk through Hillsborough Castle's gardens this summer.

The Kitchen Garden

Explore the 18th century kitchen garden with the Keeper of the Walled Garden, Adam Ferguson, and hear first hand how he planned the crops for the year, the benefits of growing in an enclosed space, as well as the opportunity to see the propagation tunnel.

Plants from the Southern Hemisphere 

Lead by New Zealand gardener Sarah Johnston, who has a special interest in plants from the Southern Hemisphere, this walk will introduce you to some of the plants from Australasia and South America that grow especially well in Northern Ireland. Discover how and where to use these plants in your garden. This walk take place in the Glen and Lost Garden.

August Harvest Walk
