Hillsborough Castle is a place to see great art. Join leading art historian Amanda Croft as she guides you through Hillsborough’s treasures including unique works from the Royal Collection and other major lenders on display for the first time in Northern Ireland.

The 45-minute tour is followed by a light brunch and opportunity to view our newest acquisition “A Mummer’s Banquet” by John Kindness.

Your art tour includes guided access to all the State Rooms that make up this elegant Georgian home. You can also explore 100 acres of beautiful gardens, which are also included in your ticket, to complete a relaxing day out.

A copy of a portrait of George Stuart, Seigneur d'Aubigny. George Stuart was an important figure in the English Civil War. He found on the Royalist side and was killed at the Battle of Edgehill. The artist, van Dyck was a child prodigy. At the age of 22, he moved from his home-town of Antwerp to England to work for King James I.
