Members-only tour
With ornamental grounds, peaceful woodland, meandering waterways and picturesque glens, the historic gardens surrounding Northern Ireland's royal residence are a joy to explore.
On a tour specially designed for new members, come and discover the gardens at Hillsborough Castle with Gardens Manager, Claire Woods. During this 90-minute walking tour, learn about the history, plants and people who have shaped and planted the gardens, and spot specimen trees and rare plants with the help of an expert eye.
Each tour starts in the Weston Pavilion at the Lower Visitor Centre. We recommend sturdy footwear as paths can be rough and the route will involve steep steps.
