An exploration of the mysterious Goligher Circle, a family of working-class Belfast psychics who were the subject of a series of experiments from 1914 to 1920 by Queen’s University academic, Dr W J Crawford.

In this lecture, accompanied with cello and guitar, Reggie Chamberlain-King, the author of Weird Belfast and Weird Dublin (Blackstaff Press), leads you through the professor’s experiments.

This is a true and fascinating story of spiritualism, fraud and obsession that involves three of Edwardian Ireland’s most-adventurous scientists, an unverified number of spirits, and one precocious young woman - 16 year old Kathleen Goligher.

Wireless Mystery Theatre are Ireland's longest-running audio theatre company, presenting innovative vintage and period style performances.
