Discover the secrets behind the popular ITV series, Victoria with series Production Designer, Michael Howells as he discusses bringing these royal stories to our screens with Historic Royal Palaces' Senior Curator, Deirdre Murphy.

Speakers

Michael Howells is a Production Designer credited with realising some of the most spectacular and ambitious sets in film, TV and fashion. He has designed for John Galliano, Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix and Alexander McQueen's fashion shows as well as the films 'Bright Young Things', 'Emma' and 'Nanny McPhee'. He is now working on the ITV series 'Victoria'.  

Deirdre Murphy is a Senior Curator at Historic Royal Palaces. She has special responsibility for the Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection and is an expert in the Victorian era.
