Private guided tours of the palace are available between 09.00 and 10.00. Tours are priced at £65 + VAT per person, based on a minimum of 10 people.

King's and Queen's State Apartments tour

Join our expert guides on a tour of the magnificent State Apartments, where royal residents ate, drank and entertained while the cream of Georgian London jostled for patronage and prestige.

Each room has its own unique character and historical significance, and all positively overflow with architectural and artistic marvels, from the Cupola Room’s mesmerising trompe l’oeil ceiling to the Renaissance masterworks that adorn the King’s Drawing Room.

Exclusive morning access to the new 'Royal Style in the Making' exhibition

Opening at Kensington Palace this summer in the newly-conserved historic Orangery, this new temporary exhibition explores the intimate relationship between fashion designer and royal client, revealing the process behind the creation of a number of the most important couture commissions in royal history. On display will be the wedding dress of Diana, Princess of Wales in addition to rare surviving toile for the 1937 coronation gown of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother; consort of King George VI.

During this exclusive-access tour, guests can immerse themselves in the royal dress collection before walking in the footsteps of Georgian royals through the magnificent State Apartments.

Private guided tours of the exhibition and palace are available between 09.00 and 10.00. Tours are priced at £100 + VAT per person, based on a minimum of 10 people.
