Kensington Palace is available for a limited number of weddings each year, making it a unique opportunity to marry in one of London’s most exclusive wedding venues.

Kensington Palace State Apartments

Set amid the tranquillity of Kensington Gardens in the heart of West London, Kensington Palace is steeped in history. Our iconic buildings have served the Royal family for over 300 years and parts of the palace remain a private residence for members of the Royal Family today.

King's Drawing Room

Fantastic views and spectacular artistry await guests in this wonderfully light and warm room.

The avenues of Kensington Gardens converge outside the chamber's central window, giving guests a vista over Queen Victoria's statue, the Round Pond and the rest of Kensington Gardens.

  • Licenced for wedding ceremonies for up to 80 guests
  • Can accommodate up to 70 guests for seated dinners
  • Increase capacity for up to 100 guests, or standing drinks receptions for up to 150 guests, in conjunction with the Cupola Room
  • Combine with the Kensington Palace Pavilion for late night dancing

Cupola Room

A setting for countless nights of music, dancing and celebration, this splendidly-decorated room is also where the future Queen Victoria was baptised surrounded by close family.

Guests look out over the palace's Wiggly Walk, Sunken Garden and the Pavilion.

  • Can accomodate up to 30 guests for seated dinner
  • Increase dining capacity for up to 100 guests, or standing drinks receptions for up to 150 guests, in conjunction with the King's Drawing Room
  • Combine with the Kensington Palace Pavilion for late night dancing

Kensington Palace Pavilion

The Kensington Palace Pavilion, a glass fronted building overlooking the palace's famous Sunken Garden, replaces the Orangery at Kensington Palace until 2024.

This unique space provides a truly exclusive and memorable experience for special weddings and celebrations. Either use as a standalone reception space, or combine with the Palace State Apartments for that extra unique touch. 

  • Up to 800 for a standing drinks reception
  • Seat up to 300 guests for a dinner dance

Perfect for summer weddings with an outdoor covered terrace, or winter weddings for a spectacular lit up view of the palace.
