Join Joint Chief Curator Lucy Worsley as she takes you on a whistle-stop tour, exploring everything you ever needed to know about Kensington Palace.
In this one-hour talk, Lucy will be joined by curators Claudia Williams, Joanna Marschner and Lee Prosser as they chart the history of one of Britain’s most famous royal buildings. ‘KP’ – as it is affectionately known - began its life as a countryside retreat for the Stuart monarchy, then went on to be the site glittering Georgian parties in the 18th century. It was also famously the birthplace of one of Britain’s best-loved monarchs, Queen Victoria. Together, Lucy and guests will chart the evolution of the palace, as well as revealing some of its innermost secrets.
