As a Life Member, you’ll benefit from:
Yes, we will take the amount you have already paid for your current year of membership off the overall cost of the Life Membership.
You can upgrade your day entry ticket(s) towards a Life Membership on the same day of your visit.
You can upgrade one adult day ticket to Individual Life Membership and two adult day tickets to Joint Life Membership.
Valid ticket(s) must be produced to be able to complete the upgrade. If you missed the opportunity of upgrading on the day of your visit to one of our palaces you can send your tickets, along with payment, to the address below within a maximum of two weeks.

Please note that only tickets bought directly from Historic Royal Palaces can be used to upgrade towards a membership.
Life members are welcome to bring in one free guest – either adult or child – as an Individual Life Member and two guests for a Joint Life Membership.
There is no restriction on the age of someone wanting to become a Life Member or for someone buying a gift membership, but please note that if a Life Membership is bought for someone under the age of 16 then they will need to be accompanied by an adult.
We accept payment via debit card or bank transfer.
Unfortunately we don’t have the facility to offer payment via instalments, the membership must be paid in one full amount. We are not able to process Life Memberships by Direct Debit.
