The pupils at Hillborough Junior School have been busy planting their Superbloom seeds in our wooden planters and we are incredibly excited to see them start to grow.
We have been learning all about how to plant seeds carefully and what conditions are the best to help them germinate, so we will be keeping a close eye on them.
We also have plans to develop a wider garden area in the school and to try and incorporate some pieces of artwork into the space, as well as other plants that we can look after.
On Thursday 5th May, we had a workshop with artist Alex Hirtzel who helped us to look closely at nature and see what we could discover almost hidden from view.
We will continue our work in school and will eventually have created 3D flowers with minibeasts and bugs hiding inside that we can't wait to put on display!
