The workshop is free to attend but you must register in advance

Your registered ticket will include admission to the Palace, the workshop and materials and tea/coffee. Please note lunch is not included. There will be time for you to visit one of the Palace cafes or restaurants during the day or you are welcome to bring a packed lunch.

Historic Royal Palaces is collaborating with Digital Drama to mark the anniversary of the Representation of the People’s Act 1918 through creative, hands-on workshops to celebrate the themes of protest, franchise, rights and voices.

Explore the story of Leonora Cohen, The Tower Suffragette in a workshop led by artist, Becci Kenning. She will guide you in creating your own group banners inspired by the suffrage banner collection at the Women’s Library, at the London School of Economics. Your banners will be finished by Becci and become part of a collection of 100 modern banners.
