Immersive after-dark drawing

This popular creative collaboration between Historic Royal Palaces and Art Macabre returns to the Tower of London, inviting adults of all abilities to use drawing to explore stories from the Tower’s remarkable 1,000 year history.

Capture the iconic architecture of one of London’s most famous landmarks, while models pose as historical characters.

From stolen crowns to haunting sounds, draw and explore the past and be immersed in the eerie atmosphere of the Tower at night. Each event features a special guest or guest artists.

Ravens and Morbid Corvids

Legend has it that if the ravens should ever leave the Tower, the kingdom will fall. In this unique event we’ll explore mythology, folklore and true tales of the Tower’s famous feathered guardians.

Draw these magnificent birds up close as they pose alongside the Tower’s very own Ravenmaster.

Guest artist, Christian Sparrow, will help you capture their likeness in charcoal.
