For three days this August, families will be invited to Go Medieval at the Tower of London. We're looking for six young actors aged 16-22 (three male and three female) to volunteer to take part in this exciting performance event.
You will receive free professional training, perform and work with performance specialists and have access to parts of the Tower that are normally out of bounds.
We are holding auditions on Saturday 30 June and Thursday 5 July (evening). You can choose which date and time slot you come to.
You will need to commit to coming to:

Please note you will need to arrive at the Tower of London at least 30 minutes before your audition time.

Can I come without booking in advance?
No, you need to complete a form and get it to us by the deadline.
What will be involved?

Will I get paid?
No, these are voluntary roles. However, travel expenses are covered and food will be supplied.
What will I gain from taking part?
You will learn new skills as a young actor/performer and you will gain enormous self-confidence. Working on the project is a great way to improve your communication and team work skills which will look great on a CV, UCAS or job application.
You will learn a lot of fascinating history and get to see hidden areas of an iconic building. And, last but probably most importantly, it will be a really exciting and unique project to be involved in!
I don’t want to be an actor. Should I still do it?
If you want a fun project which will help you develop core skills that employers look for (leadership, self-confidence, initiative, etc.) then this is perfect for you. If you love the Tower of London and all the history attached to it, you’re definitely going to enjoy this.
Can my friends/family come and see me perform?
Yes, we can provide you with two complimentary tickets for friends and family.
How will the auditions work?
We will be running group auditions which will involve some warm up exercises and some group work. You do not need to prepare anything in advance. More information will be sent to you closer to the time once you have returned an application form.
