Memorial Concert for Peter Parker

A concert of celebratory music to commemorate the life of Peter Parker. With Elizabethan madrigals and Mozart’s effervescent Exultate Jubilate, Haydn’s Missa in Angustiis and Schubert.
Peter Parker worshiped at the Chapels Royal, HM Tower of London for some 40 years and for the last 20 he was a member of the Chapel Council. He was well known for his knowledge and love of the Book of Common Prayer, and would always sing the Psalms along with the choir. Peter Parker was devoted to the Chapel and a shining example of the Christian Life which it embodies.
The Chapel is open to ticket holders only daily from 15:30-16:15 (winter) or 16:30-17:15 (summer). Access outside these times is only possible on a Yeoman Warder guided tour.
09:15 - Holy Communion.
11:00 - Matins (sung).
11:00 - Holy Communion (sung), normally on the last Sunday of the month.
