The Beauchamp Tower was built between 1275-81 by King Edward I (1239-1307). It is named after Thomas Beauchamp, 12th Earl of Warwick who was imprisoned in the tower in 1397, accused of high treason.

Anne Boleyn

Imprisoned in the Tower in 1536 and executed on the orders of her husband Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn is one of the most divisive figures in British history.

Guy Fawkes

Guy Fawkes was brought to the Tower as a prisoner in the aftermath of the Gunpowder Plot in November 1605. He was interrogated and possibly tortured in the Queen's House.
