History you can touch! In this session students will investigate objects from across the Tower’s history to analyse the changing uses of this iconic site throughout its thousand-year history.
Through handling a range of primary sources including historic artefacts, students will question what can be gained from the study of physical evidence and to what extent this evidence can be trusted.
Review a range of primary evidence to consider the varying functions of the Tower across time.
Study the specific value of physical primary evidence and how it creates debate and contrasting arguments about history.
