The Queen's State Apartments are closed until spring 2027 for major re-presentation.

There are no left luggage or bag storage facilities are available. Suitcases, large bags and any rolling luggage will not be permitted inside the palace.
Breastfeeding is welcome throughout our palace and our team are always on hand should you need any further assistance.
The Orangery offers afternoon tea and a sumptuous a la carte lunch menu. The Palace Café offers a wide range of delicious food and drink.
Both spaces are open to anyone, you don't need a palace ticket. We accept cash and card payments in both spaces.

You are able to spend as much time as you like within Kensington Palace and Kensington Gardens during opening hours. We recommend around 2-3 hours to complete your visit.
There are several London Underground stations - the closest are Queensway, a 10 minute walk and High Street Kensington, 10-15 minute walk. See our Getting here page for more ways to travel.

London Pass holders need to bring their Pass with them to show our Palace Hosts team on arrival on the day of your visit.

There is no on-site parking at Kensington Palace. We recommend that visitors avoid coming by car as nearby car parking facilities are limited. The nearest car parks are:
Q-Park Queensway (10 minute walk)
Euro Car Parks, Hyde Park/Bayswater Road (10 minute walk)

Please book at least seven days in advance of your visit as there are a limited number of spaces available. If not booked in advance, all spaces may have been taken.
No left luggage or bag storage facilities are available. Suitcases, large bags and any rolling luggage will not be permitted inside the Palace buildings.
Alternatively, you can find secure luggage storage options nearby by visiting the Stasher website.
