The Great Hall

The Great Hall of Hampton Court Palace is one of the most jaw-dropping venues in the country. Originally designed as a feasting chamber for Henry VIII, it was the last medieval great hall to be constructed for the English monarchy.

Capacities

• Can accommodate up to 200 guests for ceremonies

• Can accommodate up to 220 guests for dining

A popular option is to have a civil ceremony and drinks reception in one of the palace’s other spaces, followed by dinner in this special venue.

The Orangery and Privy Garden

The Orangery & Privy Garden: Originally conceived as the private greenhouse of King William III, the Orangery is one of Hampton Court Palace's most elegant and atmospheric spaces. Bathed in natural light and rich in royal heritage, it provides a sophisticated setting for drinks receptions, networking events and special celebrations.

Guests can enjoy exclusive access to the magnificent Privy Garden, an exquisite backdrop for arrival drinks, photography and outdoor entertaining. Available for both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations, the riverside location can be paired with nearby indoor spaces such as the Little Banqueting House or the Garden Room.
