Journey through the history of underwear at Kensington Palace and the V&A. On this study day you will:

  • Explore the story of socialite Emilie Grigsby, royal underwear trends and the transition of outerwear from underwear.
  • Investigate key pieces from the collections.
  • Learn about foreign trends, the impact of swimwear and waning ideals on modest dress.
