Palace closure in June 2024
Banqueting House will close in June 2024 for a period of essential re-servicing, conservation, and maintenance work.
Historic Royal Palaces is grateful to the Garfield Weston Foundation and Wolfson Foundation, whose generous support of the project will help us conserve this magnificent building for generations to come.
Final Open Day - 19 May 2024
Visit Banqueting House for our Final Open Day on Sunday 19 May and explore the incredible history of the Rubens ceiling, Whitehall Palace and Charles I's execution.
