It's the summer of 1533 and Henry VIII and his new, pregnant queen, Anne Boleyn, are arriving at Hampton Court to inspect the building works before the birth of their child who everyone is sure will be the long-awaited male heir.
In a new play, written for Hampton Court Palace by Sarah Dickenson and directed by Jo McInnes, you are invited to experience for yourself the hopes, dreams and fears of the Tudor dynasty and a nation.
