Winter Palace: Relaxed Event, All ages

Event information

Crowd levels will be kept to a minimum for this event. Ticket capacity is much lower than standard days and only ticket holders will be permitted entry during event time slots.

Where possible, we will adjust lighting and sound levels of The Winter Palace. Please note that this offer is immersive and sensory by nature and so it is not possible for us to alter this so suit individual needs. Please expect coloured lighting, projections and friendly character actors. Actors will have disability awareness training ahead of the event and will be aware of the audience attending and how to interact under those considerations.

We will not be asking for proof of disability or supporting documents for this event.

Visitors with limited mobility

Hampton Court Palace is a historic building with difficult stairs and passageway. Find out more on our Accessibility page. Access guides will be available online and onsite specific to the Winter Palace offer. 

Resources

A visual story will be emailed to you two weeks before the event takes place. The visual story will detail what to expect from the event. Please note that this is the first time Hampton Court Palace have offered The Winter Palace and so it may not be possible to provide pictures of all areas and characters.
