FAQs
Members enjoy unlimited, free general admission to our palaces during opening hours.
Members may be required to pre-book free member ticket(s) on select days to guarantee entry. On all other days, simply show your membership card (ID may be required).
In summer 2025, members must pre-book a free ticket through the member login for: Henry VIII's Joust (12-13 and 19-20 July) and the Food Festival (23 - 25 August); book now.
In autumn 2025, members must pre-book a free member ticket for Halloween at Hampton Court Palace (25 October - 02 November); tickets coming soon.
After our website update, if you’ve already booked your free admission ticket(s) during Henry VIII’s Joust (12–13 or 19–20 July), the Hampton Cout Palace Food Festival (23-25 August), or for a member or non-general admission event, your booking will remain valid. Simply present your ticket(s), along with a valid membership card, to staff on arrival.
Please note that once our website has been updated, bookings made beforehand won't appear in your new Historic Royal Palaces account. If you need to check or confirm and existing booking, please contact us at [email protected] or call 0333 320 6000. Please do not rebook duplicate tickets.
You don’t need to create your new Historic Royal Palaces account - we’ll do it for you.
If you're a current member, your account will be set up automatically using the email address linked to your membership.
When it’s ready, we’ll send you an email with instructions on how to activate your account. All you’ll need to do is reset your password the first time you log in.
Please keep an eye on your inbox - we’ll let you know as soon as your account is ready to use.

Yes, your Membership ID is still on record and shown on your card and in our communications with you.
You will no longer need it to log in or book tickets.
Yes, please bring your membership card on every visit.
New members can show their confirmation email if the card hasn't yet arrived.
