Ticket prices

Experience the Tower of London like never before without the usual crowds. With visitor numbers limited daily, we have measures in place to ensure your visit is safe and enjoyable. You can arrive at any time within your chosen one-hour timeslot, so if your timeslot starts at 10.00, you can arrive any time between 10.00 and 11.00.

Your admission ticket gives you entry to: 

  • The Crown Jewels, The White Tower, Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula
  • Battlements, Medieval Palace, Bloody Tower, Torture at the Tower exhibition, Fusiliers Museum and Royal Mint exhibition 

You’ll also be able to hear captivating stories of the history of the Tower of London from the famous Yeoman Warders and see the legendary ravens.

Peak ticket prices apply Friday – Sunday and every day throughout July and August.

Off-peak prices apply on Wednesday and Thursdays throughout May and June (excluding half term week when peak prices apply).

Tickets for dates up to August are available to book now. Tickets for September onwards will be released shortly.

Tickets for the Ceremony of the Keys for 17-31 July will be released on 1 July.

Historic Royal Palaces is the self-funding charity that cares for the Tower of London. We ask for an optional 10% donation towards our charitable work when you buy your ticket. By making this donation you are helping us at a time when we're facing serious financial challenges resulting from the Coronavirus.

You can make your donation go further by ticking the Gift Aid box when completing your purchase. Historic Royal Palaces will be able to claim an extra 25% of the value of your ticket at no extra cost to you. Thank you for supporting us.

Group tickets

Groups and visiting safely

In line with government guidelines, group/multiple ticket holders are required by law to visit in groups of 6 (unless they are visiting as a household or support bubble which is larger than 6).

Guided tours must be carried out by Blue Badge or Accredited guides. In line with Coronavirus restrictions, the group must consist of no more than 30 people and COVID-19 safety measures must be followed for the duration of the visit.

Tower Hamlets residents visit for just £1

Local residents within the borough of Tower Hamlets who have either an Idea Store card or Tower Hamlets library card can visit the Tower of London for only £1.00. This offer is possible because of an agreement with Tower Hamlets Council. 

The offer is valid all year round. Only one ticket per adult card holder can be purchased per day. Adults can purchase additional tickets for additional children for £1.00. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Tickets can only be purchased on the day from our ticket office. We are now operating with timeslots with a limited capacity. If a timeslot is full, you will be put on the next available timeslot. 

Adults should bring their proof of address and Idea Store or library card with them to the ticket office.
