Top tips

How to make the most of your visit

  • Pre-booking is not required at the Tower of London which means your group can just turn up and pay for their tickets on the day, for a simple and flexible experience.
  • No group trip is complete without a visit to the Crown Jewels. We advise visiting in the morning to beat the crowds at peak times.
  • As well as live interpretation, there are several ceremonies which take place at the Tower to add value to your group visit. See the inspection of the military guard daily at 14.45 during the ceremony of the word, or check our calendar to see if your visit coincides with one of our gun salutes.
  • Save time in your itinerary by pre-booking Meal Deal catering vouchers — catering information below.
  • Don’t forget to take your group up on to the historic battlements for some incredible views of the surrounding city.
  • Please note - large groups are not permitted to join the Yeoman Warder tours.
