Updated 19 December: In line with the latest government guidance, Hampton Court Palace and gardens will be closed from 20 December until further notice. Please note this also includes the ice rink and Magic Garden.
Set amid 750 acres of rolling parkland and just a stone’s throw from London, Hampton Court Palace makes a truly breathtaking backdrop for large-scale and commercial events, from corporate gatherings to extravagant private parties.
With its atmospheric courtyards and unspoilt grassland, Hampton Court boasts a variety of scenic outdoor spaces, all of which afford unforgettable views of one of the greatest palaces ever built. By arrangement, marquees and other structures can be erected on our marquee sites, so you can rest assured that your event will be a success come rain or shine.

A hidden gem of peace and tranquillity within the palace’s 60 acres of formal gardens, the 20th Century Garden is perfectly suited to summer parties, family fun days and extra-special receptions. As the name suggests, the informal ornamental trees and hedges of the 20th Century Garden have a distinctly modern flavour, in contrast to the rest of Hampton Court.
Home Park comprises 750 acres of unspoilt grassland, dotted with ancient oaks and criss-crossed with avenues of lime trees, which you and your guests will be sharing with 270 majestic deer – the descendants of Henry VIII’s original herd.
These bucolic surroundings make a perfect backdrop to gala dinners and large-scale receptions.
Fountain Court is one of the finest examples of Baroque architecture in England and has remained virtually unchanged since its construction for William III and Mary II. Overlooked by magnificent red brick elevations designed by Sir Christopher Wren, this Baroque quadrangle is dominated by a large pool and fountain from which the name derives.
Now you and your guests can gather in the intimate cloisters before spilling out into the courtyard for sumptuous dinner dances and drinks receptions, just as William and Mary would have done.
