FAQ'S for Venue Hire
Our venues can accommodate a wide variety of events, including corporate events, conferences, drinks receptions, gala dinners, weddings, private celebrations, brand launches, award ceremonies, filming, and large-scale events. Each venue has its own spaces, capacities and suitability, so our team can help you find the right setting for your event.

Our venues generally operate on a dry-hire basis, meaning that catering, production, entertainment, floristry, furniture and other event requirements are arranged separately.
We work with a network of approved suppliers who are familiar with our historic buildings and event requirements.
We work exclusively with our approved suppliers across all our venues, and all event elements must be sourced via these.
Please note that we are unable to quote on behalf of our approved suppliers.
Where we would welcome your own suppliers would be for photography, wedding/celebration cakes, and transport, although these must be approved by your event planner.
Yes. Our teams are happy to arrange site visits where possible. A visit is a great opportunity to discuss your event plans, view the spaces and talk through any specific requirements.
All Historic Royal Palaces sites offer accessibility provisions, although the level and type of access varies between each historic site. We recommend speaking to the relevant venue team in advance to discuss any specific access requirements and ensure that suitable arrangements can be made.

Most of our venues offer opportunities for temporary structures, marquees and other installations. These are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, including planning requirements and venue approval.
