Inside the Tower of London

New Armouries Café

For a hearty sit down meal or if you are in a group, try the New Armouries Café. We offer hot meals, including our fish and chips, sandwiches, soup, salads, baked cakes and pastries, hot and cold drinks and a children's menu.

Make sure you take a look around while in the dining hall as we have some historic surprises on display.

Ravens Café

Tasty snacks on the go.

Specialising in a great selection of gourmet sausages with vegetarian options available, the Tower’s outdoor café is a great spot for a snack within earshot of the famous ravens and with spectacular views of the Tower.

Opening times

    Daily: 10:30 – 17:00
  • Winter (November to February)
    Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 10:30-16:00*

The Wharf Kiosk

Enjoy a tasty snack with great views of the Tower and the Thames. Our riverside café offers hot and cold drinks, great food and delicious cakes.

  • Winter (November to February)
    Weekdays: 08:00–17:00
    Weekends: 09:00–17:00

Enjoy a picnic in the moat

In the summer months enjoy a picnic in the Tower Moat. Bring your food and a comfortable blanket from home, and enjoy this unique picnic location. 

  • Picnickers must have a valid Tower admission ticket to access this area. 
  • Access is subject to weather conditions and availability. 

Inside the buildings

To help protect our palace, food and drink is not allowed within the confines of any of the buildings except in designated areas.


Our single-use coffee cups, and other catering disposables, are made from renewable, lower carbon or recycled materials and can be commercially composted with food waste.

At Historic Royal Palaces we exist for tomorrow, not just for yesterday.
