Keeping you safe on your visit

Welcome to our palaces

Welcome to our palaces

Visiting safely

For the safety, health and comfort of our visitors, staff and volunteers, we will continue to operate with many of our COVID-19 safety measures in place beyond 19 July.

We will continue to manage visitor numbers so our sites remain safe places to visit. To guarantee entry we ask members and visitors to pre-book tickets and timed entry slots in advance. We will also welcome walk-ups wherever possible, though this will vary from site to site. Please see the booking page for each Palace for site-specific guidance.

We expect and recommend that face masks are worn in indoor spaces and that visitors continue to maintain a respectful distance from staff and other visitors not in their group. Please continue to show courtesy and consideration for other people visiting the Palaces.

We will continue to provide hand sanitiser and also advise you to bring your own. We will also continue with our enhanced cleaning regimes.

We hope that our visitors and members will support our position and help us to keep them and our staff as safe as possible at this time.

Exhibitions

A wonderful line up of exhibitions and events are taking place across the palaces this year, and we have planned these with your safety in mind.
