Hold the stories of the Tower of London in your hand and experience history where it really happened with the British Sign Language digital visitor guide.

The guide is on a mobile-phone sized touchscreen that comes with an accompanying printed map to show the tour routes.

The tour is self-led and is free of charge for British Sign Language users and one accompanying adult. If you are visiting as a group of more than 6 people who all use BSL, please advise our contact centre so we can set aside the required guides.

Where do I collect my guide?

Collect your visitor guide from inside the Beefeater Shop, located on the right just past the entrance. Please ask for a BSL visitor guide.

Our highlights tour is the perfect introduction to the history of the Tower. Make the most of your time and visit the must-see attractions in 90-120 minutes, from the majestic Crown Jewels to the 1,000 year-old White Tower.

Imprisonment and execution
Many prisoners have been imprisoned and executed at the Tower throughout history. Hear true stories of famous prisoners like Anne Boleyn, Guy Fawkes and the two young princes. Tour takes around 30 minutes.
