Our award winning café serves delicious soups, sandwiches and salads and a range of patisserie to be enjoyed, along with our hot food range including burgers, chowder and curries.

Come and explore the gardens and reward yourself with a well-earned cuppa and pastry.

We continue to offer our Sunday lunch for collection between 11.30-17.00.

A range of sweet and savoury items are available for takeaway, as well as a selection of breads and sweet treats available to pre-order for collection. Or celebrate special occasions with our ever-popular afternoon teas and brunch boxes.

We work with the beautiful produce from Hillsborough Castle’s historic Walled Garden and alongside reputable local producers to ensure only the finest ingredients are featured in our dishes.

How to find us

The Hillsborough Castle Café is located in the Weston Pavilion, just a short walk from our car park.

For free on-site parking, please follow the brown tourist signs on the A1 south to our sign-posted car park entrance.

Seasonal produce

You can also pick up a fresh, seasonal produce box grown by our expert gardeners in the Walled Garden. 

Prices and produce will vary, depending on availability.

Stable Yard Tea Room

A family of two adults and two children enjoy food in the Stableyard Tea Room at Hillsborough Castle and Gardens.

Currently closed

Hot drinks, cakes and snacks are all part of the delicious seasonal menu in the Stable Yard Tea Room.

Dishes have been created from heritage varieties of fruit, vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, often using produce grown in the Walled Garden at Hillsborough Castle and Gardens since the 18th century.
