Parts of the Tower are not pushchair friendly due to the cobbled ground. Buggies and pushchairs are not permitted in the White Tower. Please leave them in one of the buggy parks.

Buggy parks are in the following areas:

  • At the entrance to the White Tower under the wooden stairs

  • At the Middle Drawbridge.

On the day

Use our helpful itinerary to plan your visit to the palace and craft a memorable day out for all the family. We recommend leaving at least two hours for a visit.

Many parts of the Tower are outdoors, without a cover. The Wharf is by the Thames so this may be subject to more extreme conditions. Please check the weather ahead of your visit and dress appropriately.
