Superbloom Flowers

Over 20 million seeds from 29 flower species have been planted in the Tower of London moat to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen as part of the Superbloom flower display.

Each of the flower species have been specially selected for their colour and ability to attract pollinating insects to create a new biodiverse habitat in the heart of London.

These species will bloom in three vibrant and colourful waves. Here are some highlights.

Wave 1

In June, these beautiful blooms will spring up first in their sunshiny yellows and oranges.

Wave 2

In July, the moat will be transformed into a dramatic sea of brilliant blues and purples, accented by radiant red.

Wave 3

Finally, from August through September, a sea of golden blooms will blossom to celebrate the Jubilee year.
