Enjoy a truly unique early morning experience inside the Tower of London with the world's most famous ravens.

Enter the Tower an hour before opening time and join a Yeoman Warder member of the Ravenmaster’s team at the ravens' cages. Hear a fascinating 45-minute talk exploring more about the Tower of London's most famous residents before their cage doors are opened.

Learn our Ravens’ names, discover their unique personalities, their feeding and care routines, and delve into the history, myths and traditions that have made them an enduring symbol of the Tower for centuries. You'll hear behind-the-scenes stories and gain a deeper understanding of their important place in the Tower's legacy.

You can also take some exclusive photographs of the ravens, and see them being released into the Tower* for the day.

With early entry for this experience, you can be one of the first in line to enter the Crown Jewels exhibition.

Your ticket for this experience includes:

  • Early entry to the Tower, skipping the admission queue

  • An exclusive 45-minute talk with one of the Ravenmaster’s team

  • See the ravens being released for the day

  • Be first in line as the Crown Jewels exhibition opens

  • Access to all public areas of the Tower of London

*Ravens may not be released if there is notification of risk of avian flu.

Entry and access information

  • Late arrivals will not be admitted, as this disrupts the experience for other visitors.

  • Refunds are not permitted for late arrivals. If you are late, your ticket will still provide entry to the Tower when open.

  • Child tickets are available for children aged 5 and over and for young people aged 16-17. Children under 5 do not need a ticket. Parents/carers are requested to keep children still and quiet during the ceremony.

  • Push chairs and buggies are permitted. There is a small buggy park to the left as you enter at Middle Drawbridge.

  • Accessibility: the ground within the Tower is cobbled and uneven, sensible footwear is advised. There is wheelchair access over cobbles between the entry and the Raven’s cages. At one point, guests will be on grass near the cages, this may not be possible for wheelchair users. Please talk to the Yeoman Warder on the day and see our  Access Guide for more information on access throughout the Tower.
