Whether you are already working in the heritage sector or are thinking about working in heritage, this MA will provide you with a deep understanding of the history, theory, practice and practicalities of heritage management.
The programme will give future heritage sector leaders the skills needed to address the managerial, intellectual, cultural, social and technical challenges of maintaining and sharing heritage sites.
Historic Royal Palaces wants to make careers in the heritage sector more accessible to people from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities to help ensure everyone feels the palaces are for them and make them accessible and relevant for all.
In order to achieve this, Historic Royal Palaces is pleased to support two scholarships for students from BAME groups to study part time on the MA in Heritage Management, jointly established with Queen Mary’s University London, during the 2020/21 and 2021/22 academic years.
The scholarships will cover your part-time course fees and a living allowance of £12,273 per annum.
For the duration of the MA, and alongside the course, those holding the scholarships will work part time within the Curators’ team at Historic Royal Palaces for an additional two days a week.
Please download the guidance notes before you apply.
