Chimney conservation at Hampton Court Palace

In this film, our conservation team undertook a vital conservation project.

Cracks were identified in some of the thousands of red bricks that make up a chimney at Hampton Court Palace. To prevent further damage, the team took apart the whole chimney brick by brick, cataloging them and making new bricks to repair the damage.
