In this hands-on session, pupils will explore a range of different taxidermy animals and discover how animals are adapted to their habitat.
Learning objectives
Pupils will:
Learn what a habitat is and that animals need certain resources to live.
Learn that, like all living things, animals are adapted to their environment.
Be able to identify how some native animals are adapted to their habitat e.g, woodland, pond.
Understand that plants and animals in their environment live interdependently.
Pupils will learn how to closely observe/investigate taxidermy specimens to identify biological adaptations.
