The Queen's Reading Room

At Hampton Court Palace

At Hampton Court Palace

After the stellar success of the inaugural event, The Queen's Reading Room Festival returns by popular demand to Hampton Court Palace. Coming for one day only, don't miss out on this star-studded event.

The Festival will be even bigger and better than last year’s event. It will once again gather authors, experts, actors and literature lovers for a day celebrating the written word, set against the magical backdrop of Hampton Court Palace.

The line-up

Whilst the line-up is yet to be announced, in 2023 Dame Judi Dench and West End Austen improvisation group ‘Austentatious’ took to the stage. The previous event also saw live shows with the likes of much-loved authors Ken Follett, Peter James and Kate Mosse. Check back on this webpage for further details including the highly anticipated line-up in early 2024.
