Historic Royal Palaces is partnering with local community groups across London in an exciting creative gardening and wellbeing project.
In 2022, the Tower of London will celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by transforming the Tower moat into a vibrant, joyful field of flowers. From June to September 2022 the flower display will erupt into new colours and patterns creating a spectacular and dramatic experience.
'Superbloom' will bring natural beauty to the heart of the city, giving people time to slow down, reflect and bask in the simple joy of flowers in bloom.
Community groups local to the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and Kensington Palace are being invited to help us spread this joy across London in this once in a lifetime experience.
Community groups will have the opportunity to create their own mini- superbloom displays in community spaces for everyone to enjoy.
The project is designed to be flexible and will enable groups to shape it around their particular needs and interests, as well as their available space and capacity for creating their displays.
No space is too big, or too small from gardens to window boxes and planters, everyone is invited to get growing.
