Queens Week at Hampton Court Palace

Please complete the form below to request a booking for one of the events we are running during Queens Week at Hampton Court Palace between Monday 5 July - Friday 9 July 2027.

Please note:

  • Queens Week is a special event programme. During this week, our usual schools sessions and self-led visits at Hampton Court Palace will be paused to make way for this exciting programme.

  • If you are making a booking for the GCSE and A-Level Careers Day please note that space are limited to 200 students. For workshops students will be divided into groups of approximately 25–30. Groups may include students from different schools, and students from the same school may be divided between groups. GCSE and A-Level Students will be in separate groups.

  • If you are unable to attend or no longer require your full allocation, please let us know as soon as possible and at least six weeks before the event. This will allow us to offer places to schools on the waiting list and avoid charges where applicable. 

Queens Week at Hampton Court Palace

As part of our new Teach the Six Queens Differently campaign, Queens Week (5-9 July 2027) invites students to walk in the footsteps of six women who were far more than Henry VIII’s wives. Encouraging KS2/3 students to move beyond the familiar "divorced, beheaded, died" rhyme to discover the women and who they really were. For GCSE and A-Level students we are offering an exciting arts and heritage focused careers day inspired by the queens.

Please note the day starts from 10:30 so please arrive between 10:00 and 10:30. You will receive more information in your confirmation email.

Which day do you want to attend? On Tuesday 6 July Hampton Court Palace will only be open to schools. This means not all areas of the Palace will be open, similar to Schools only Tuesdays.

By submitting this booking form, you are making a request for a booking to be made for your group. The visit should only be considered confirmed when a booking confirmation email and invoice is sent to you. This can take up to 10 days so please allow this time before contacting the team to check on progress. We work through requests in the date order they are received, and our response time will vary depending on how busy we are.

We may combine (non-personal) data about your school with information from the government's school census to understand more about the demographic profile of the schools visiting us. This helps us to develop our schools service to reach a wide range of schools.
